APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): In crewed charters, the Charterer pays upfront an estimated amount for these expenses, this is then forwarded to the Captain who will be responsible for making all payments as necessary, accounting of Charterer’s expenses, advising the latter periodically as to the disbursement of the APA and providing at the end of the charter a breakdown with as many receipts as possible. The amount provided up front for such expenses is called Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), it is collected with the last payment before the charter and its purpose is to enhance the level of services rendered, by allowing the Charterer to remain un-distracted by day to day expenses. Deductions from APA represent expenses accrued and paid for from APA. APA is usually calculated at 30% of the charter fee. The final, actual expenses accrued may be more or less depending on Charterer’s individual requirements. Should the Charterer spend more than their estimated expense allowance, additional payment will be required during their charter and under all circumstances the Charterer must settle all accounts in cash before disembarking at the end of the charter. Conversely, any unspent APA will be refunded to the Charterer at the end of the charter.
Obligatory extras the charter company adds to every booking, paid before arrival or at the base as marked. They are in the breakdown below, not a surprise at check-in.
Fortune One is a catamaran built in 2023 by Catana Group: a Bali 5.4. At 16.8 m (55 ft) she sleeps 10 + 2 crew in 5 + 2 crew cabins, with 7 WC. Power comes from 2 × 80 HP. She sails from Lavrion, main port, Greece and is run by EGO Charter, an independent charter company. A crewed charter: her crew comes with her, so you need no licence to book her. Charters start on Saturday, with check-in from 17:00 and check-out by 09:00.

The security deposit is a refundable amount the charter company holds during your charter to cover possible damage. You leave it at the base at check-in — usually as a credit-card pre-authorisation or in cash — and it is returned at check-out if the boat comes back undamaged.
Fortune One is a crewed charter — she comes with a professional crew, so you do not need any licence to book her.
The crew comes with this boat, but the charter company charges for the crew on top of the charter price — that charge and the other obligatory extras are listed on this page. Food, drinks, fuel and port fees come on top too — on crewed yachts usually through an APA, an advance of 30–40 % of the charter price that the captain spends against receipts and settles with you at the end. The refundable security deposit is separate.
A crew price such as “1.960 € per week + food” pays for that person’s work for the week; their meals are the guests’ to provide on top. It does not mean food for everyone on board is included. In practice it works one of three ways. The crew member eats on board with you: buy groceries for one extra adult and include them in breakfast, lunch and dinner — six guests plus a skipper means provisioning for seven. The crew member joins you at a restaurant: you cover their meal. The crew member eats separately: agree a meal allowance with the charter company or the skipper beforehand, covering the meals you do not provide. There is no fixed food surcharge unless one has been agreed — with shared meals on board, the cost is simply the extra groceries, and if you go ashore for dinner while the skipper stays on board, leave a suitable meal or arrange an allowance for it. The charter company’s own terms decide what applies; any allowance it states is listed separately in the price breakdown.
Check-in for Fortune One is from 17:00 on the day your charter starts, and check-out is by 09:00 on the day it ends. The charter company’s rule for this base: “Return to base the evening before disembarkation at 18:00 the latest.”
Fortune One is owned and operated by EGO Charter, an independent charter company with 6 boats in our catalogue. We act as your charter agent: you book and pay through us, and EGO Charter hands the boat over at the base.
